You have questions about your health.

You’re working, managing your life and taking care of the people and things that matter to you.

But somewhere along the way, you have stopped feeling like yourself.

  • Maybe you’re not sleeping well. Or you’re in perimenopause and your periods, sleep, mood or energy are all over the place.
  • Maybe you’re on hormone replacement, but you still don’t feel as well as you expected to.
  • Or perhaps your blood pressure or cholesterol have been creeping up.
  • Maybe your blood sugar or weight is increasing.
  • Or you’re tired more often than you think you should be.
  • Maybe you’ve been through breast cancer or another significant health condition, and your health decisions are more complicated because of it.
  • Perhaps you watched your mother develop dementia or your father develop heart disease—and now that you’re in your 40s, 50s or 60s, their health history feels more relevant to your own.
Usually, it isn’t just one thing

“What do I need to do for myself?”

Usually, it isn’t just one thing but a combination of a few which require intelligent untangling.

You may have found yourself wondering:

  • What is my current situation?
  • What information do I need to make meaningful decisions?
  • And where do I start?
  • What might I want to ask my current healthcare team?

Start with the information you already have.

Most women have had bloodwork in the last year.

That’s where we’ll start.

Bring your laboratory results from within the past 12 months.

You won’t upload them.

You won’t share them with the group.

And I won’t interpret your individual results.

Instead, you’ll follow along privately as I reveal each of the 10 biomarkers.

Dr Manna Semby

For each one, I’ll explain:

Why it made
my list.

What it helps
us understand.

Why it can matter particularly in midlife

What it can‘t
tell us by itself.

Why the same result might lead me to ask different questions in two different women.

Why “in range” doesn’t always answer the question we’re actually asking.

This is a lot of words

And, importantly, I’ll show you why I rarely think about one number in isolation.

Your cardiovascular health doesn’t live in one box while menopause lives in another. Your metabolic health isn’t disconnected from your future brain health. Your genetics don’t operate independently of everything else about you.

A single “normal” or “abnormal” number is rarely the whole story.

If you don’t have recent labs, that’s okay too.

You can still participate fully—and you’ll leave knowing more about what information may be worth discussing the next time you see your doctor.

That’s where the larger health picture begins to emerge.

If dementia runs in your family

New brain health biomarkers

I want to spend some time specifically with you.

Many of the women who come to see me have watched a mother, father or another close relative develop dementia.

And inevitably they wonder:

“What does that mean for me?”

Family history matters.

But family history is not destiny.

And brain health isn’t something that exists separately from the rest of your health.

Dr Manna Semby

In addition to the 10 midlife biomarkers, I’ll introduce newer brain biomarkers that I consider in selected situations.

I’ll explain what kinds of questions they may help us explore, their limitations, and why I don’t believe every woman should simply go out and order every new test that becomes available.

Because the goal isn’t more testing but more meaning.

The Early Advantage:

Time

Time to understand

Time to ask questions

Time to investigate

Time to make changes

Early doesn’t mean alarmed. Early means informed.

Usually, it isn’t just one thing

What You Will Leave With

  • The 10 biomarkers I’ve selected and why each made my list.
  • A better understanding of what those biomarkers can—and cannot—tell you.
  • Why certain pieces of information become more meaningful when considered together.
  • Three newer brain biomarkers I consider selectively.
  • Better questions to take back to your healthcare team.

And perhaps most importantly:

You’ll have a better idea of what should come next.

This is an interactive session.

Bring your questions.

I’ll use polls throughout the interactive session so you can participate and see what other women in midlife are experiencing and wondering about.

We’ll spend time answering your general questions about what we’ve covered.

Because this is a group educational masterclass, I won’t interpret individual laboratory results, discuss personal medical histories, diagnose conditions or make individualized treatment recommendations.

You’ll have a better idea of what should come next.

About Dr. Manna Semby

Dr Manna Semby

I’m Dr. Manna Semby, ND, MSCP, IFMCP, founder of Aruna Personalized Medicine and the Menopause Brain Doctor.

I specialize in menopause and brain health, with advanced training in menopause and functional medicine and a particular focus on protecting cognitive health.

Medicine wasn’t my first career. I worked in finance at Goldman Sachs and PricewaterhouseCoopers.

After my children were diagnosed with autism as toddlers—and I found conventional answers deeply unsatisfying—I eventually went to medical school in my 40s to study naturopathic and functional medicine.

Before I turned 50, I went through burnout, menopause and breast cancer in the same period.

My experience as a patient reinforced something I had already begun to see in my clinical work: women are still not getting the full care they deserve.

Today I work with midlife women navigating menopause as the whole-body and brain transition that it is, as well as women with a family history of dementia who want to protect their brain health for the long run.

I believe health is the infrastructure for leadership.

And by leadership, I don’t simply mean what you do at work.

I mean having the agency and autonomy to direct your own life, make your own decisions and pursue what matters to you.

What Are Your Symptoms Trying to Tell You?

Many women are told that brain fog, poor sleep, anxiety, and loss of focus are simply part of getting older.

This is incorrect. These symptoms are clues that your brain needs help.

In this masterclass, you’ll discover:
  • Why Your Brain Feels Different
The hidden biological changes that affect memory, focus, mood, energy, and sleep during midlife.
  • What Your Symptoms Are Telling You
How hormones, metabolism, inflammation, toxins, stress, and other factors influence brain health, cognitive performance and professional longevity.
  • What You Can Do About It
The practical steps women can take to support brain health, protect cognitive vitality, and feel more like themselves again.

A New Way of Thinking About Brain Health

Many women believe they have only two choices:

  • Wait and hope for the best.
  • Or wait until something is wrong enough to diagnose.

Research increasingly suggests there is a third option.

Many of the factors that influence brain health — including sleep, hormones, metabolism, inflammation, cardiovascular health, environmental exposures, and genetics — can be evaluated and addressed long before serious problems develop.

The earlier you understand what is influencing your brain health, the more opportunities you have to take meaningful action.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this a free masterclass?

Yes. There is no cost to attend.

My goal is to help more women understand what is happening to their brains in midlife and what they can do to protect their future brain health.

Will there be a replay?

Yes.

Everyone will receive a replay link 24h after the event. However, the value of this masterclass comes not only from the information shared, but from participating in the live experience. If protecting your brain health is important to you, I encourage you to reserve the time and attend live.

Is this only for women who have already been diagnosed with dementia?

No.

In fact, this webinar is designed primarily for women who want to take action before a diagnosis ever occurs.

It may also be helpful for women who have been diagnosed with subjective cognitive impairment (SCI) or mild cognitive impairment (MCI) and want to better understand the factors influencing brain health.

Is this for women who are taking hormone replacement therapy (HRT)?

Yes and No.

Some women take HRT and some do not. The webinar is designed for women across the spectrum who want to better understand the many factors that influence brain health, not just hormones.
